AWS Engineer

This is 12 month contract with Vanguard.
Remote for 1-2 month than oniste in Malvern, PA.
2 days in office 3 days remote.
Visa:
All but no H1B.
Must have good communication.
Must have extensive experience in building data pipelines, Amazon S3, AWS Glue ETL and Cloud Front.
Scope of Work Provides system analysis, design, development, and implementation of data analytics (ETL) solutions for AWS cloud environment.
Translates technical specifications, and/or design models into code for new or enhancement projects (for internal or external clients).
Performs unit testing and writes appropriate unit test plans to ensure requirements are satisfied.
Assists in integration, systems, acceptance, and other related testing as needed.
Interfaces with cross functional teams, including associated Data & Mid Tier teams.
Develop cloud base solution designs and implementation plans based on customer needs.
Strong grasp of cloud computing IaaS fundamentals with experience designing and implementing solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of the following:
Deep level of knowledge and skills in Python, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Presto, YARN.
Hands-on experience building AWS Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
Experience building Data Ingestion and ETL pipelines using AWS but not limited to AWS ECS, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Lambda.
Experience building Infrastructure in AWS with good understanding of CloudFormation and IAM services.
Hands-on experience building data pipelines using python, SQL, pandas and PySpark Good understanding of Hive and Spark Performance Tuning Working knowledge on various AWS Storage and Compute and Access services.
Strong analysis and debugging skills for the AWS platform Experience with ETL tools, serverless architecture is a huge plus Recommended Skills Amazon Redshift Apache Hadoop Apache Hive Apache Spark Apache Yarn Cloudformation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
