The Quality Engineer will be the technical Quality representative supporting Operations and NPDThe position will be responsible for data analysis, inspection plans, implementation & training of quality control principles, and improvements to product quality levelsMain Responsibilities Data analysis utilizing statistical techniques to describe and evaluate data; clear communication of results and lead on improvement efforts based on data Support New Product Development, to include generation of product specifications, inspection plans and testing criteria, review and approval of NPD documentation, and trial support Develop / implement site SPC program, utilizing current CAQ system as appropriate; implement formal Process Control Plans across all product lines Review and improvement of all product Inspection plans to ensure proper quality control checks are being performed, and at the proper frequency to identify defects Implementation of Gauge R&R studies across all test methods and technologies Oversee internal Nonconforming Product system to ensure all NCP is identified / quarantined properly, and solid corrective actions are performed; review and analyze data for trends and corrective action effectiveness Perform audits on paperwork, product quality, GMPs, and systems adherence Provide technical Quality support to Operations teams, attending meetings, providing training, and assisting with projects (across all shifts) Assist with calibration & site micro programs Assist with complaint investigations and corrective action implementation, performing verifications to ensure effectiveness of implemented actions Assist Quality Group with overall systems development and implementation, including Food Safety / SQF, Supplier audits, and QMS improvements Responsible for Food Safety within scope of work, including adherence to site Hygiene Code of Practice and SQF / FDA regulatory requirements, and reporting of food safety concerns / improvement suggestions RequirementsSkills/Experience Technical degree (Engineering, etc.
) with 1-3 yrsexperience working within a regulated Quality system Data analysis experience, strong Excel skills, Minitab preferred Experience with Quality & Food Safety systems preferred Salary Description $70,000 to $80,000 Recommended Skills Auditing Calibration Data Analysis Food Safety Microsoft Excel Process Control Apply to this job.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
