Production Supervisor
Job Description:
Supervision of converting lines& employees to optimize production, ensure quality and focus on employee health and safety
Converting floor leader for production, safety and quality
Provide technical and troubleshooting support driving improved output and machine operations
Provide feedback: compose hourly employee reviews & performance documentation
Enforce health and safety standards, practices and policies
Participate in labor contract administration, grievance procedure
Coach and handle discipline as required
Suggest and implement continuous improvement to manufacturing processes
We are 24/7 operation and on call availability is required
Job
Qualifications:
Paper tissue making experience strongly desired
Exceptional leadership, planning and organizational skills
Prior experience in a unionized setting highly preferred
Results oriented and the ability to motivate a team to perform at high levels
Experience in trouble shooting and process improvement
Good decision making ability and innovative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office, AS 400 & SAP skills required
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
